It willl do the job
XP-Pen protective films use a single adhesive strip at the top to attach to the tablets. I can see why this is effective for most tablets, as it means that you can just lift the film to remove any dust. However, the Deco Pro has a curved surface, so the protector does not lay flat on it. It tends to ripple on the curved side, especially the corner. Taping this corner down improved it, but didn't fix it entirely.
The surface itself is much smoother than the tablet, making it difficult to control the pen. I will hopefully get used to it, but to be honest I think DIY or an iPad screen protector would be as good.
I think this protector would be much better if it had a second adhesive strip on the bottom or had a fully adhesive surface, and was more like the tablet's original texture, but it will protect the surface (and hopefully reduce nib wear) just fine.
