Not Compatible with Artist 12 (Gen 1)
The Artist 12 (Gen 1) ships with a bulky three cable connection (USB C -> 2 USB A + HDMI) and I was hoping to use the USB-C capabilities of Power Delivery + native video support to make working with the Artist 12 less cumbersome.
My own USB C Cables didn't fit (the material around the socket is too narrow), so I ordered one from the shop thinking it would fit.
It did not, and even when I shaved down the rubber off the edges so it connected correctly, the Artist 12 did not work.
I accept that the website mentions Gen 2, however it mentions it after the Artist 16, implying it is only for Artist 16 Gen 2. Other cables on the website have gens scattered through the name indicating each only refers to one version of the Artist. (eg another cable is for "Artist12/Innovator 16/Artist pro16/Artist 10/12/13/16 2nd/Artist pro 14 Gen2/Artist pro 16 Gen")

Hi. Can I buy any different usb type-c cable? What is the different between this and other data cable?
