How do I prevent burn-in on an OLED pen display?

If the same image is displayed continuously or repeatedly on any OLED pen display, image retention may occur. Usually, the residual image will disappear within a few minutes. This is a property of OLED materials, not a product malfunction.

Artist Ultra 14 has screen protection enabled by default at the factory. This function limits the device’s maximum brightness. You can manually turn off screen protection in the OSD menu to increase brightness. After returning to everyday use, we recommend turning screen protection on again to ensure long-term stable use of the display.

If you do not use Artist Ultra 14 for a long time, we recommend using a screen saver or turning off the pen display. You can also consider using “Dark Mode” and changing the menu bar in the operating system to a black background.
