Dear Xfans,
The Mascot Contest 2020 has come to an end. We received over 300 submissions and we got much inspiration about the partner of Fenix.
Thank you for your enthusiastic participation and support in the drawing contest so far. Picking the winners was no easy task, as there were so many amazing submissions. We hope you enjoy all the works as we did.
The results of the winners are now announced as follows:

The idea of the contest is to create a character that will be the partner and friend of Fenix (2020), XP-PEN's official mascot.

The character design must be harmonious and complement Fenix. The drawing should also reflect their camaraderie and friendship.

Participants have full creative freedom to design the friend of Fenix: their gender is up to the artist's choice, and can be either humanoid or non-human.

The presented work must contain your drawing of Fenix and the new companion. Also, it must be finished: cleaned, colored, etc.

Designs should be in line with XP-PEN's image: we recommend drawing inspiration from the company logo, as well as their website, products, etc.

Fenix's design must be faithful to the original. However, clothes, expressions as well as the drawing style can vary
You must upload your work to XP-PEN's website. (Obligatory step)
For that, you'll have to register here.

You can upload an unlimited number of works but you need to submit them one at a time.

There are no requirements for either height or width, just make sure the file is within 5MB max.

Once your work is approved (72h approx.) your artworks will be shown on the contest's page.
Upload your work on Twitter. (Optional step: allows the chance for your work to be shared by @XPPEN / @TheArtBond).
It is limited to one work submission per tweet, but you can upload different proposals in other tweets. We recommend you upload the same picture you upload to XP-PEN's website.

PARTICIPANTS WON'T BE ASKED FOR A SPECIFIC FORMAT. Please choose a visually pleasing format of your choice. However, we recommend the MINIMAL size for the original work to be of an A4: 300 pixels/inch. Still, we recommend uploading your work to both XP-PEN's website and Twitter signed and on a reduced size.

PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ASKED FOR FINISHED DRAWINGS. These must show both characters, have color, etc.

La intención del concurso es la creación de un personaje que será el acompañante y amigo de Fenix (2020), la mascota oficial de XP-PEN.

El diseño de los personajes debe ser harmónico y complementar a Fenix.El dibujo debería reflejar la camaradería y amistad entre ambos.

Los participantes tienen libertad creativa completa para diseñar al amigo de Fenix: su género queda a elección del artista y puede ser humanoide o no.

El trabajo presentado debe contener su dibujo de Fenix y el nuevo compañero. También debe estar terminado: limpio, coloreado, etc.

Los diseños deberían estar acordes con la imagen corporativa de XP-PEN: recomendamos que os inspiréis en el logo de la compañía, además de su página web, productos, etc.

El diseño de Fenix debe ser fiel al original. Sin embargo, la ropa, expresiones y el estilo de dibujo pueden variar.

Puede subir un número ilimitado de trabajos, pero debe enviarlos de uno en uno.

You must be at least 14 years old to participate. The contest organizers will verify the age of the winners. If you're younger than 16, you will be asked for a written permit from your legal tutors to receive the contest prize.

The designs will still belong to you. However, by basing your work in XP-PEN, you'll not use these characters in a way that may harm the image of the company.
For example: drawing these characters in a way that may be considered as sensitive content.

If you as a participant (not a winner) wished to use your characters and designs for commercial purposes, please remove any evidence of them being based in XP-PEN, and redesign them so that they are completely disassociated with the characters presented in this contest.
For example: removing the logo of the company if it was included in the design, changing details, colors, etc.

These designs will still belong to you. However, by basing your work in XP-PEN, you'll not use these designs in a way that may harm the image of the company.
- B
XP-PEN promises not to use your work for commercial purposes; only for advertisement, unless any other agreement is reached with the winner.
For example: if XP-PEN wished to add these designs in their business cards, in their websites, brochures, posts, picture books and leaflets for advertising and promotion purpose; in the packaging of their products, on print media and digital media product package for public display; also on printed materials at exhibition booths or retail outlets etc, they would be allowed to do so because they are not selling the designs nor any product derived from themselves, they'd just be used for promotional purposes only. - C
XP-PEN reserves its right to make external commercial agreements with one or more winners.

XP-PEN reserves its right to commission art using the winner's character design and use any commissioned art for promotional purposes.
- E
XP-PEN reserves its right to commission art using the winner's character design from artists other than the winner. They may use any commissioned art for promotional purposes only; once again, commercial uses of the winner's design must be settled in an external commercial agreement with them.
XP-PEN commits to send both the prizes of the contest and the prize of the raffle to the respective winners.
XP-PEN & THE ART BOND reserve their right to alter the rules during the contest only to remove any mistakes, expand its information, etc. They will never eliminate information from the established rules. Any significant change will be announced through Twitter, and both the time and aspects of these updates will be indicated at the beginning of the rules.
XP-PEN reserves its right to use or not to use the winner work for promotional ends.
XP-PEN & THE ART BOND reserve their right to broaden the deadline given any unexpected event.

Los diseños continuarán siendo de usted. Sin embargo, al estar la obra basada en XP-PEN, está de acuerdo con no usar estos diseños de manera que pueda dañar la imagen de la compañía.

XP-PEN se reserva el derecho de hacer acuerdos comerciales externos con uno o más ganadores.

Dado el caso de un acuerdo comercial con varios ganadores, XP-PEN se reserva el derecho a que dichos acuerdos sean diferentes en base a las necesidades y peticiones que se hayan acordado.

XP-PEN se reserva el derecho de encargar obras de arte utilizando el diseño de personajes del ganador a artistas que no sean el ganador.
